The Saudi Government normally issues the Umrah Visa about two months after the Hajj is over. From 2001(1422 AH) the Ministry of Hajj has issued contracts to 350 selected Saudi Travel Agencies (of which AlMenbar is one) to process all visa traffic into the Kingdom.

This ruling effectively restricts you as an intending pilgrim from applying for a visa directly. Instead, AlMenbar efficiently and effectively processes your visa via your local Licenced Contractor.

The New Rulesrrestrict your stay in Saudi Arabia to 14 days maximum from the point of arrival till the point of departure. This includes allowing you to visit any part of Saudi Arabia within the 14 days period, assuming your stay meets the New Rules.

Additionally you can transit through Saudi Arabia to perform Umra on your way to/back from your ultimate destination such as Pakistan, India or Bangladesh etc. In this situation, your stopover can be overnight only to complete your Umra; or longer, up to 28 days (the duration for your Umra Visa) for you to stay in Makka and Madina or as per your wish.

- An affidavit affirming that the passenger will not overstay the visa period in Saudi Arabia

- Medical insurance (arranged by the local Contractor)

Travel insurance is optional, but highly recommended.
